I, myself, have experienced on a first hand level and understand that poverty is unpleasant. It leaves you in a state of suffering, rejection, hopelessness and depression. And so when we give a cup of water to one of these we are giving unto Him. A touch, gift, or visit - to love someone in these ways can literally change their lives forever. For me, to sit where they sat, you can relate to them because you have been there. When Jesus came he came on our level. These's no better feeling one can have than salvation-when you see a child being blessed by having a quality meal from your hands.

This is what World Vision is about! To meet the needs of the hopeless in the world.
